Thunder snow!  It had been raining on Friday and Saturday, and we were given the forecast of snow for Sunday, and we got snow! I'm looking forward to it.  We may have an early spring or not.  One thing I'm concerned about is the chance of severe thunderstorms.  Yesterday was lovely and we decided to splurge and frill some steaks and shrimp outside.  We also ate on the patio too. I just felt really crappy, and Goof noticed that I had a fever that night.  So Wednesday I curled up and slept most of the day, same with yesterday.  I'm feeling human today.  I'm still freezing, and we might get some flurries on Tuesday.  Snow! I woke up about 6am.  What happened?  I took a 25mg Benedryl, and I thought I would wake up at 7:30 or even as late at 8:30am.  What did I get?  Maybe 7 hours of sleep.  Ugh.  I need 8 to feel really good.  I'm still working on my quilt.  It's rather time consuming getting these squares and triangles cut and sewn properly. It seems it overheated and the fan may not have engaged.  Stinky was using it, and I wasn't home.  So, after a day of reformatting with an older XP disk, I found my recovery disks for the laptop.  Another day later, it was back up.  I lost all the stored info on the hard drive unfortunately. It was worse last year because the drought.  How bad last year?  Try 5400.  So, I am hoping for more rain this month. To live in an area where the stuff actually comes down in the backyard is fun.  We had our rare snow yesterday afternoon.  It was fluffy and tiny, then it got big, then icy, then back to fluffy.  It took about an hour before it stuck to the ground. Well from the East Bay anyways.  For some reason I'm warmer here than back at Mom's house.  The wind was so cold!  Also it rained in Atlanta while we were gone, so the bitter cold front was missing.  Mom told me that Dad hurt his thumb somehow and wasn't able to turn on the wall heater.  Not that she uses it much. My luggage was left behind (gee, the rapture came and my bags weren't holy?)  in ATL or was it STL?  Some how they found them and were delivered to mom's house.  Now we are leaving, and have gained another set of bags!  I hope I don't lose these.  This time, I will pack a spare change of clothes in my carry on. What about phishers?  I find all kinds of strange emails in my junk folder.  A lot of ED type stuff, matchmaking emails, nasty chat invites, money scams from Nigeria or Taiwan, and diet emails. It was 29*F as I was driving Stinky to school.  It's not getting warmer than 50*F.  If it even gets close to that.  A few more days and we leave for CA.  I'm looking forward to seeing my parents, relatives and friends.I'm a little worried about the flights.  With the snowstorms in the Northeast, I am afraid of weather delays.
