I have low ceilings!
Ha ha, today we went out and got a new tree. Went to Home Depot and found a tree I liked, well Goof wanted the multi colored lights so of course the tree I wanted was out, we chose a different one. I asked him the height limits, as I am lousy at this stuff. He told me no more than 7.5ft. Bad news, the tree with it's stand is too tall. We clipped the base and the point branch still touched the ceiling. I need to find a short tree topper. The one he bought me, adds another foot, plus with the multi colored lights, the topper lights LED white and blue. Doesn't match. I was looking at a box of decorations at the store. Everything you need in this box, ornaments, and ribbons, even a tree topper. Only problem, it just looked really cheap. Christmas trees don't need to look like a magazine spread. They need to be homey, it's got handmade ornaments, that your preschooler made. The cat should have sat on the lower branches and bent it slightly. The dog should have ran into it while chasing said cat. I have plenty of great wired ribbon, so I will make bows for the tree. I think I may make a bow as a tree topper.

good idea to use a bow. My husband's familyh are big xmas traditionalists, so our tree is full of German hand blown and painted glass.
It's nice to have meaning to the decorations!
