It's done!

Don't tell mom, but I finished her quilt. Actually in record time. I started the quilt at the class I took the other weekend. I was able to finish the quilt top rather quickly since the body was made from pre cut strips of fabric. The hard part was quilting it all together. A twin sized blanket takes a long time. I took photos of it before it went into the wash, just in case it all came apart lol. I am impressed with how the quilt looks after washing. I like the raised areas between the freehand stitching. There are areas of the quilt where I could have stitched it better, but all and all I'm really happy with it. I wouldn't mind doing another one. Especially after this next one I'm still working on.
