How do stay at home mothers keep their sanity? The day to day chores of cleaning up after children, making dinner every night, being home all the time? I wonder, is this why they spend hours at Starbucks, or wandering through the retail shops? There is something satisfying about leaving the house for 8 hours a day for a purpose. I just rather not do it 5 days a week, not including commute time.
Hobbies, I need hobbies. Hmmm, let's see; learn to sew, minor house improvement projects, garden, learn to socialize with the neighbors more.
I don't know if I would run out of stuff to do, or just get bored. I'm really not that social to my neighbors. Maybe it's because I expect too much from them. I mean cleaning up after your dogs is a lot, or actually being outside as said dogs run through the cul de sac tearing up garbage bags, is asking a lot. I like my neighbors to stay private and not leave any evidence of their personal lives strewn about.
