What triggers spam emails? What about phishers? I find all kinds of strange emails in my junk folder. A lot of ED type stuff, matchmaking emails, nasty chat invites, money scams from Nigeria or Taiwan, and diet emails. As far as I can tell the sites I look at are clean. Well except for Perez Hilton. I'm sure that a lot of stuff tries to get past my MacAfee because of that site.
The diet stuff is the one that makes me laugh. I went to American Eagle the other day to get a gift for someone. I decided to try some clothing on. Something has happened over the last twenty years; clothing sizing varies from brand to brand. It used to be that the couture lines ran small because they were made using the sizing from their image of women. Where as ready to wear items were all pretty much the same measurements brand to brand. Levis were sold by actual waist and inseam measurements not size. What am I trying to say? I wore a 5-7 in high school at 107lbs. Well I know that 10 years ago, shopping at Anne Taylor meant the sizes ran small for me. Meaning I needed a size 6 when I weighed 100lbs. Gap for me meant a size 2 or 4. Banana Republic runs large, so I need a size 1 or 2. Gap, I wear a 4 now. American Eagle? I'm not sure. I have a pair from a few years ago that is a bit big for me that's a 6. Trying to find something this last weekend, found me trying several skirts jeans, and slacks in size 0. They were too big in the hips. My hips haven't shrunk or grown since having Stinky. Still 36 inches. So what happened?
Is there anyway I can tell these spammers and phishers that I don't have a weight issue? I have a sizing issue. Oh yea yea, don't give me grief. Everyone has their own self worth issues. Mine just doesn't happen to be weight. Remember, I have the figure of a stick. No T or A. Also, I'm not that tall.
